Sara. Dearest friend I miss you. I remember so vividly many of times we had together. In particular the walks and talks we had, in the rain, snow and sunshine. You always smiled through the joys and when we were working and thinking through life’s challenges and being with the tougher times. I recall the many wise words you shared, the light you shone on meaning and purpose. The way you gathered people around you to support you. The priority you placed on supporting your children, now amazing young people, balancing what was needed by them between you and Tony. You loved all of them, your family dearly. I am forever inspired by the way you lived life to the full and danced your way through the ups and downs. I always felt your love. Your hugs were special, strong, comforting like nothing else. Always impressed by your sheer determination and desire for justice and what was right. I am forever grateful for the way you willingly lent in and advocated for my daughter, Charlotte. You were insightful, knowledgeable and a powerful influencer in persuading the Uni to make the SLT course accessible for Charlotte. You were a tower of strength and love for Charlotte personally. You made a difference. You had such a huge capacity and capability to achieve great things. And achieve great things you did. What a legacy on so many levels you leave behind. You had a way of making people feel special. You would often say we were spiritually connected and I believe we were. Sara you were my soul mate, the kindest person, loving, most beautifully creative, inclusive, so very talented and humble. We lose you too soon, you were not done, we were not done. Your presence though will continue to be felt, it will live on, and so you will be with us forever. Your friend always, Lesley xx
